Rustoleum Project
1969 Plymouth RoadRunner
Hot Rod Magazine calls…
They need a car built for the good people over at RustOleum…
They need it road ready for the Power Tour…
The Power Tour is in 3 ½ weeks…
No problem!
In 3 ½ weeks this Plymouth went from stray dog to late sixties Saturday Night Special! For the cool factor, it’s pretty hard to beat a 1969 Road Runner with a 440, a 4-speed and a Dana 60! But add a wicked drag race stance along with the “bigs and littles” and DANG! -that looks sweet!
We couldn’t do it without some very special friends:
Mick’s Paint - paint and body. IN ONE WEEK!
Year One - all those absolutely necessary restoration parts!
ARP - the worlds best fasteners and hardware
Budnik Wheels - the bitchin’ rear wheels (Formosa dished 15 X 10)
Rocket Racing Wheels - the killer front 5 spokes (Fuel 15X 6)
Andrews Powder Coating - the way-bad Dow 7 looking finish on the rims
Tube Technologies Inc. - the best fitting Mopar headers and exhaust system on the planet
Eric Thorsen Custom Upholstery - transforming the funky ‘ol seats
Flaming River - the new fast ratio steering box
Hoosier Tire - those big doughnuts and little skinnies
Xtreme Powder Coating - powder coating all the suspension parts overnight
Above All Glass - swapping in fresh glass at a moments notice
