HW GTO

1966 Pontiac GTO

Mattel was promoting their new G-Machines line of Hot Wheels die cast cars at the 2006 SEMA show and they wanted a full sized show stopper to bring people into their booth.  They already had a '66 GTO sitting around that they had used a couple years prior, but the quality was a little iffy.  So they had some art work made into posters, sent the car off for a repaint, started producing 1:50th scale replicas to give away at the show, and called on Pure Vision to assemble everything with a SEMA level of quality.  The car has since received a full Hotchkis suspension upgrade for improved drivability and has been on display at numerous Hot Wheels promotional events around the country.
